The weather proved to be beautiful for Kelly and Lisa's wedding! The sun came out and it was an unseasonably warm day for late winter. Their wedding was tons of fun and I'm so glad that I was there to be able to capture it! One of the highpoint of their wedding was when they invited everybody to come out to the dance floor during their First Dance. That gesture showed just how important their friends and family are to them. Loved being there to photograph it!
If you haven't heard of Josh Gracin yet, get yourself down to a record store and buy his latest CD. He's rocking. I had the pleasure of photographing his CD release party at Tin Roof and it was jumping. Not only was the crowd going crazy, but Josh himself couldn't stand still. Not only are his songs great, but he is such a great performer that it really was a treat to be able to see him in action. Following his performance, was an afterparty on the second roof of Tin Roof.
David and Lindsey had gotten married a year ago. But because they loved Nashville so much, they wanted to make sure they got some wedding pictures on Broadway. I thought it was a great idea and jumped at the chance to be able to photograph them! I had loads of fun leading Lindsey in her big, puffy dress through the traffic of Broadway. David was a gentleman and made sure that her dress stayed intact. We got a lot of attention wherever we went. We even stopped in Robert's to have a drink, and that drove the crowds wild!
On February 8, 2017 the second annual Conversations at Oz happened at Oz Arts Nashville. If you haven't been to Oz Arts Nashville yet make sure to check it out. It's a beautiful space that has cutting edge and contemporary performances and art exhibits. It also has a great sculpture garden too.
Conversations at Oz was an event where leaders and celebrity figures moderated a conversation around a topic of their choice that they found relevant to issues happening today. Attendees could choose which table they wanted to sit at depending on what conversation they wanted to be at.
The food was provided by Prima and there was also an art exhibit by New York based artist Heesop Yoon. It was an unforgettable evening!
